Electric Owl Works, LLC is a family-owned-and-operated business dedicated to providing a safe artistic space for musicians to explore, discover, create, and distribute their music.
Electric Owl Works Records was founded in response to feedback received from dozens of independent and small label-affiliated artists over the years. What they have told us is that after going through the laborious songwriting and recording process, many of them don’t have the comfort level or time to effectively and safely distribute their completed music. Without access to teams of management, artist representation, or record label staff, they are unsure how to perform these tasks.
Electric Owl Works Records, along with Rachael’s Owl Music Publishing (BMI), provide these needed services to artists at a fraction of the cost of traditional labels, music publishing, and distribution companies. New and developing talent with small budgets can focus on live performances, songwriting, and recording while Electric Owl Works, LLC will provide any or all of the following:
- Recording, mixing, and mastering services at Electric Owl Works recording studio
- Record producer and studio musician services
- Electronic distribution of their music to dozens of online streaming and download platforms such as Amazon Music, Apple Music, Deezer, Google Play, iTunes, Pandora, Tidal, and Spotify
- Assist with affordable duplication of cassettes, CDs, and vinyl
- Protect songwriter interests with music publishing through BMI
- Ensure that release credits for all songwriters, performers, arrangers, engineers, and producers are entered into the AllMusic database
- Ensure that releases are entered into the Gracenote database
